DOIT Expert Meeting in Vienna

Invited experts will take part at DOIT’s first expert meeting, in c ooperation with the “Impulszentrum für Entrepreneurship Education” by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (http://www.eesi-impulszentrum.at).

“Take Your Time and Start to Tinker… or Even Solder!” – Success Story #42

Today DOIT pilots are already in a full swing in different European countries. This time, we want to share a story about a little girl, who hasn’t invented a serious or significant invention so far, but who have made great progress in overcoming her fears and hesitations in the makers’ world. By participating in DOIT’s workshop she made a big step in the development of her future entrepreneurial, creative and constructive skills.

Visit of the county councillor at Salzburg Research

On December 12th, the county councillor of Salzburg, Andrea Klambauer, visited Salzburg Research and got the opportunity to gain an insight into the work of Salzburg Research and DOIT. In addition to DOITs objectives and goals, the team also presented how the use and impact of the innovation-promoting DOIT program and the various methods are tested and scientifically evaluated in ten European countries. The Salzburg pilot activities were shown to illustrate this work.

In this context, Salzburg Research published a press release on “Young people as social entrepreneurs”, which was also issued in the Salzburger Bezirksblätter.
