Starting today, the DOIT project starts its project kick-off meeting. 13 partners from Europe will join the meeting hosted by the Waag Society in Amsterdam. Some of them know each other from several other projects. Others will see them the first time.
The project just started and Sandra Schön (Salzburg Research) did a first presentation about making with children and how this is related with a new approach of children’s early entrpreneurial education. At the annual eEducation conference in Eisenstadt she also did involve some of more than 50 attendees when showing functionalities of some Maker kits.
At the photo you see Dr. Robert Kristöfl (Austrian Ministry of Education) and Barbara Buchegger (SaferInternet.at) supppoting to show how to build an alternative key set with MaKey Makey.
Besides this talk, Sandra Schön was also attending a panel discussion about the future of eEducation in Austria’s school.
A big thanks to all who made photos and allowed us to use and share it!
