DOIT as part of the re:publica 2018 in Berlin

Sandra Schön, co-ordinator of the DOIT project (Salzburg Research), was asked to take part within a panel discussion at the international re:publica in Berlin – “The Most Inspiring Festival For The Digital Society”. It directly addressed DOIT issues (2018-05-04):

Description of the session (translation of the official version in German):

Digitisation of education alone is not enough: new concepts are needed for modern teaching. Educational enthusiasts* are already developing missing ideas and materials themselves; teachers, makers and teachers share instructions, network resources, worksheets and lesson concepts. But how sustainable is this bottom-up approach in terms of social impact? And how much “open” can education take? We want to discuss this with our guests and the audience.
