On November 24th 2017, our partners Salzburg Research and ZSI (Center for Social Innovation, Vienna) hosted a workshop for about 30 teachers and other experts and interested people for technologies at schools at the eEducation conference at the Interpaedagogica fair in Salzburg (Austria). The theme of the workshop was “Maker projects and tools for beginners to improve the world with children” and was used to introduce DOIT and the related tools. The workshop was attended by many teachers and educators who are interested in new (digital) maker tools and want to use them in their lessons or projects with children. In four stations, the participants got to know the Makey Makey kit, where small projects connected to social innovations were presented. Thanks to Christian Voigt (ZSI) for having a introductional presentation and our hosts Margit Hofer (ZSI), Sebastian Mair (ZSI), Petra Stabauer (SRFG), Eva Hollauf (SRFG) and Sandra Schön (SRFG).
