On December 13th, Dr. Sandra Schön will hold a webinar on the principles and measures that can ensure greater participation by girls in makerspaces. Sandra Schön and colleagues looked at proven practice models of gender-sensitive work with girls in the context of STEM: How do maker spaces reach more girls? What conditions should be created?

On November 6-7th, DOIT together with Elisabeth Unterfrauner from Zentrum für Soziale Innovation (ZSI) participated in the RTO Innovation Summit which took place in Brussels.
On November 7th in Social Innovation Village at the Web Summit 2018 our partners from YouthProAktiv and Salzburg Research, Paloma Cantero Gómez and Eva Hollauf, promoted DOIT Europe project, its goals and achievements and also encouraged to become one of Doers, Heroes, facilitators or even ambassadors.
Maria Grandl from the TU Graz presented out joint research on how to reach more girls in makerspaces/maker education at the Edurobotics conference 2018 in Rome. Thanks a lot for the presentation!
